Speaking to the press as the update for Routes Africa was being released, David Stroud, the Executive Vice President, Airports for UBM Aviation Routes, said:

“Preparation for Routes Africa is going extremely well. We currently have over 180 delegates registered, with more airlines and airports represented than at any previous Routes Africa event. A number of highly-respected keynote speakers are confirmed to speak at the Strategy Forum on the afternoon of Sunday, July 8, including Minister Marthinuis Van Schakuyk (Minister of Tourism Republic of South Africa), Mr. Cramer Ball (CEO Air Seychelles), and Mr. Gebremaraim Tewolde (CEO Ethiopian Airlines), which will provide an impactful opening to the event. We are very much looking forward to what promises to be the biggest Routes Africa event in history!”

Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism & Culture, has said that the Routes Africa taking place in Seychelles will be a great networking opportunity for North, South, and East, West cooperation in the field of tourism and aviation. It will also open new opportunities for Africa to know more about Africa airlines and its tourism industry.
